Metabolic Testing

And how many calories do you burn during your daily activities and while you exercise? You can discover the answer to these questions by using the Club’s metabolic testing services.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Assessment
This test is performed while resting comfortably in a chair and takes as few as 15 minutes. It assesses your resting caloric needs—the number of calories your body needs to maintain its basic functions.
With this, you’ll know how many calories your body needs, allowing you to limit the calories you consume in order to lose weight. This assessment includes one general nutrition overview and explanation of test results. This test is ideal for individuals who have experienced difficulty losing weight; athletes looking to maximize performance and anyone who desires an accurate, customized nutrition and workout plan.
Aerobic Capacity Assessment
This program enables you to exercise at intensity levels that most efficiently burn stored fat and improve your cardiovascular fitness. This assessment includes a nutrition workshop.
This test is ideal for individuals interested in improving their aerobic endurance; competitive athletes and anyone who desires a customized cardio training program. The assessment includes one general nutrition overview and explanation of test results.
