Life just got a lot simpler for members who enjoy Bellevue Club fitness classes. Starting in January, the brand-new GPX program allows members to pay one monthly fee—$35 for one member, $45 for multiple members from the same family membership—and take almost any fitness class they want, as often as they want. “It’s been something that we’ve been developing for a awhile,” Fitness Director Sue Matyas says. “The idea is to make it easier for members to take classes—whether it’s yoga or cycling, they’ll have over 50 weekly classes to choose from.” Selected group exercise classes, indoor cycling, yoga and Pilates mat are all included in the unlimited GPX program. Members will still have the option to pay the drop-in fee per class, which ranges from $6-15 depending on the class, but Sue says GPX makes sense for anybody who takes at least one or two classes per week. (Click here to download the GPX brochure for a GPX math lesson) “It doesn’t take long for GPX to pay off big time,” she says. “Also, because you’re not paying for every single class, you can take a ton more and try out new ones.” Several premier programs, such as Kinesis, Ultimate Fitness or special workshops are not included in GPX, but the majority of weekly Fitness classes fall under the program. (Click here to download the current GPX schedule) The Spa has teamed up with the GPX Fitness program to support overall member wellness in 2010. For the next six months, any member who enrolls with GPX will receive 30 percent off of unlimited facials, massages and body treatments, and 20 percent off manicures and pedicures. Some restrictions apply. To sign up, simply fill out a GPX agreement form and drop it off at the Membership Services Office.
