TOURNAMENT FORMAT, RULES & REGULATIONS
The Bellevue Club-Central Park annual championships will be run in the following format:
Check the box next to the level you wish to play, and provide your partner's name (if doubles). Each level is scheduled, both preliminary and playoff rounds on certain days — noted below. We will not be able to accommodate your schedule if you cannot play during the times listed for your level.
All preliminary rounds will be scheduled on one day and time (3-4 hour block) during the tournament week. Consult the entry form below to see dates and times of each event.
All events will be run in round robin formats. Players will be flighted into groups of four and will play 10 games total against all opponents in their group.
Top scorers in preliminary rounds will compete in single elimination playoff matches.
Please note the playoff schedule listed on the entry form.
Players may play in as many events as they would like. However, after being registered for two events, additional events will be assigned as spaces are available.
There will not be an opportunity to reschedule matches, as all players will be required to play at the same time.
Open Division Draws, except mixed open doubles, will be played the weekend of February 17 through February 19th.
Match format will be 2 out of three sets. No ad scoring. 10 point tiebreaker played for the third set. First match consolation will also be offered.
Due to court limitations draws may be limited, so please enter early.
