Spring Spritz At Home

Named “Cocktail of the Year” by the New York Times, this drink, born in the 1880s, is enjoying a revival in the culinary limelight.

Add some sparkle to the first days of spring with a classic—the spritz. Traditionally, a spritz is an Italian wine-based cocktail made with prosecco, a bitter liqueur (such as Aperol or Cynar) and sparkling soda water. These days, the aperitif appears in many variations and can be modified to suit your taste or dinner menu. Stop by Cosmos to sip our specialty Spritz or make your own with these suggested recipes.
